Uploading your game to Kongregate

The upload process is fairly straight forward. Its similar to uploading a normal flash game, only that you'll need to put in a callback url for your iframe. To do that you'll have to follow a few steps.

For this part you'll need a 128x128 icon to upload to the Kongregate field later in this part of the tutorial.

1. Upload your game folder to a hosting service you use (I used dropbox).

2. Once uploaded to the service you use. Copy the link of the "Kongregate_shell.html" file. This is your iframe callback url.

3. Click here to go to the page specific for uploading iframe games. Fill in the information relevant to your game in the fields and upload the logo you created on the first page then click continue.

4.on the next page, Specify the height and width of the game. Then specify what is was made using. For me I put that it was made using "HTML5/JavaScript. At the top of your page, paste the link in the iframe callback box.

After clicking continue you'll be taken to a preview of your game. There will be a small notice at the top telling you of how the game needs to be approved to be published. Click on the "email apps@kongregate.com" link to send an email over to the staff. Include your Username and the game you uploaded.

From there you play the waiting game!
