Welcome back to my Turn Based RPG tutorials! 👋😄

This time, we'll make a "Turn Skip".. Which is exactly what it sounds like; A Status Effect/Condition that causes the affected character to have their turn skipped.

First, like in any good tutorial on how to make just about anybody in a Turn Based fight's life miserable or better... You'll need a hero and a enemy!... Which I'll say is a killer training dummy.

We'll program our effect onto the jerk for this, just like the "D.O.T" tutorial.

First, click on the enemy in question, head over to the Instance Variables.. And add a new one! Keep it as a number variable.

Give it a name, too! Like say... "Stun" or "Asleep", and maybe to make it clearer add something in the description like "This makes "Killer Dummy" lose it's turn."

I'll talk about programing it in the next part! https://www.construct.net/en/tutorials/turn-based-rpg-status-2772
