  • I also want to report that I start experiencing a bug in all Beta versions after stable 207.2, and this version as well. It's possible that these two bugs that have emerged are correlated. Problem is, even after asking for help in the Discord, I can't recreate the bug, but I will say that the point at which is occurs is very strange. The only action I needed to disable to stop the error from occurring was setting an Instance variable of a Sprite Object called "EID".

It's a Javascript error that occurs, so I'll file an Issue and share a screenshot.

I've noticed that other people in the comments here have experienced some bugs, and I worry that my issue may not be the only one that's hard to reproduce.

  • Good..

  • When I scrub through a timeline in this version the animation does not update. This is evident in the Sunset Runner example. Im sure this used to work at some point?

Make sure the pencil icon is toggled in the Timeline bar. Scrubbing to preview of a timeline only works when editing is enabled. You can also tell if the current timeline can be edited because the selection rectangle of instances is a yellow color rather than the normal light blue.

  • Why haven't they responded to my email in tech support for 5 days? I wrote to helloesn@construct.net

It looks like you emailed us on Friday December 6th, and we already sent a response on Monday December 9th.

  • open a json with 20MB on chrome => Lag and can't edit any thing.

  • w update

  • YAY!!╰(*°▽°*)╯

  • I'm still waiting for a way to be able to modify the behaviour of the autobrush at the edge of a tilemap. Then I can make seamless looping worlds...

  • Great update, thanks for all the ongoing work on better export and Steam support.

There is an issue with the Steam Overlay of the Steamworks addon. On some systems : it doesn't work and completely freeze the app window making it impossible to resize/close and without showing any error in the console. It happens to other C3 devs from the Discord too.

    Reported the issue here: github.com/Scirra/Construct-bugs/issues/8328

  • Great update! Thanks!
