Don't miss out on the latest and greatest new features in Construct 3

Notes

Releases now have a comments section underneath! Take a look at the bottom of this page, where you can now post your thoughts. Wahey! We hope to be rolling this out to more of construct.net in future.

In case you missed it, we've also released a desktop build beta. The main feature of the desktop build of C3 is you can use folder-based project saves, which is ideal for source control. If you don't need that, you can just keep using C3 in the browser.

Other than that, we're working hard to make sure Construct 3 is reliable for you. We've got a batch of bug fixes, and some other tweaks for consistency in the UI. Stay tuned for more updates and hopefully we'll have a stable update in the next couple of weeks.

  • I used to be against the whole browser idea thing and no desktop version since launch but now I've completely changed my mind and will definitely not use the desktop version, I love the browser version so much!

  • How can we push updates to browser users? This would be super cool feature. "Check for Updates: www.myConstructGame.com/version=123"

    Commenting, yay!

First step in bringing the community over here :)

  • Thank you for the desktop build, Scirra! :)

Now i'm hoping to see the promised Steam Plugin soon.

  • Okay. Atleast it's getting better now. I just hope the SDK is completed soon with the new runtime.

  • now it does not open my project, what's going on?

  • Hoping to get more control over the updates. Would love to have the desktop version different than the browser one and to be able to switch them on desktop as I want (if this is not implemented yet that is)
