Notes
Apple released iOS 11 this week, and we're excited to announce experimental support for running Construct 3 on iOS 11! This is at a very early stage so expect plenty of issues, but you should be able to start up Construct 3 on an iPhone or iPad and use it in mobile mode, similar to the existing Android support. Note that Safari uses the side-swipe gestures that bring in side panes for back/forward navigation, which can be quite awkward. If you add C3 to your home screen it works better since there are no Safari back/forward navigation gestures. You'll be prompted to do this if you load C3 in the Safari browser. Anyway, please give it a spin and file any issues if you run in to problems, which we expect there will be at this stage.
Another benefit of iOS 11 is it supports Remote Preview now! Safari 11 adds support for WebRTC DataChannels, so you can now test on iOS 11 devices using Remote Preview. Even better, the built-in camera app on iOS 11 now supports automatically scanning QR codes. So you only need to open the camera app and point it at the QR code, and you can directly open Safari to the Remote Preview URL.
In addition to that, there's a small new feature to allow you to lock individual objects in the Layout View. Previously you could only lock an entire layer, but this gives you the ability to lock some objects but not others on a layer. Simply right-click an object and choose Lock selection.
Other than that, there are some more bug fixes. We've fixed a lot this week!
