  • Love so much the jelly's damper and dashing smoke is nice. The gameplay is confusing because player is given control but depend on bumping to change direction. For me it's very counter intuitive to get hang of it.

    • Thanks for the feedback mate. Is is a very different control setup, but that is the point.

      It is about quick thinking and planning and to use your bouncing to your advantage.

      When I start mastering the game I could easily complete the map with 20-25 bounces left.

  • Didn't finish the level. Is there more than one? I did find the game enjoyable. Clean graphics and tight controls. Could do without the dash mechanic, I think.

    • Thanks mate! There is just this one, but I will make some more leves with some new game mechanics.

      The dash is needed for later levels. Maybe as a power up, dunno yet.

  • Surprisingly fun! I didn't like that it started immediately without warning. It's a lot to learn how to play the game and what your goal is while also playing it and trying to not fail. Once I knew how it worked though, it started to become fun. I expected it to be very easy, just collecting the closest next gem. But when I made a small mistake it would send me on an entire new path and I had to adjust my route super fast. It happened quite a lot actually and it felt like the core challenge to me. I enjoyed it! Visuals are very clear and it has some nice juice. Could use some coyote time. P.S. I did not know there were max bounces until I read your comments. Also I never used the dash, I didn't feel like I needed it at any time.

    • Thanks buddy! I am happy that you liked it and happy about the feedback. The game will definitely have coyote jump, it is put on the 'To Do' list.

      This demo was purely down to test the gameplay. But there will be entry levels to introduce the game mechanics to the player in the final game.

      The game is indeed meant for timing and planning, and I am happy you liked it. I found it fun as well when I began to master the gameplay.

      The Dash can be useful in some situations, but on other levels it will be key to be able to clear the level. I'm also thinking about some Timed levels, where speed is required.

      The final game will look like the visual demo that I made here in the link. I just wanted the core mechanics to work before I put in the graphics.

  • I like the game. Nice animation on the character and it is fun.

    I agree on the learning curve, once you get hang of it, (especially the wall jump part) you get better score fast.

    You know the at the moment you can freeze the character by pressing the opposite arrow key from the moment direction, and it also possible to control the landing curve the same way, the character drop strait down instead of follow the curve. I don't think you can use to any advantage though.

    Nice game and I almost got 32, 30 is my highest score!
