  • I have a version of the game. But it's only 10% of what I've planned, but it?s already playabe.

My doubt is: once I?ve posted the game, am I allowed to update it until october 27?'m fairly certain that "only completed entries should be posted."

  • Ok Here's My Entry to the Competition, Space 2011, I've tested it as much as i can and now my brain hurts, I need to get this uploaded and finished so i can make another one, as i have another idea for a game.ust to let you know, I experienced a lock-up when a missile hit my shield during wave #2.

  • I believe sprite fonts may be what you're looking for. There are others who know more (and better!) advice, so hopefully they'll post here. There was a similar topic about this some time ago:

  • Damn, I don't think I'll be able to join...

I'm working on a game to celebrate my 10 year anniversary together w/ my girl! <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" />Gammabeam, that's so sweet! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I've always entertained the idea of doing something similar. Good luck, mate!

  • What about special badge for a website, something like "Took a part in Scirra's C2 Competition" or something like that. Would be very cool :)ike a snippet of HTML embed code? I imagine making one's own image/code and linking to the contest topic would work just as well AND be much more personally liberating in terms of creativity and style <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I can't wait to see the roster of submissions once the contest comes to a close. There's some real talent on these forums!

  • Admins....

Just thinking out loud...the competitions forum should be moved up to the top level as it should be for both C2 and CC. That might give it more exposure...

Not a bad idea, Scidave. The more the merrier! Looking forward to the next competition--I'll get in on one of them eventually :)

  • Didn't have enough time to completely finish my entry, but I now have some handy tree simulator code for use in the future [tube]yAZPhYZPRUs[/tube]

  • TIGSource had a contest several years back in which the contestants used a random video game title generator to determine the title/theme of their game. Titles like "Preschool Outlaw Bandits" or "Robot Love Squadron" have some potential xD

  • Digging the art design, Pyteo. Once again, beautiful!

  • Love these. I'll hopefully contribute this month if I get the chance!

  • Super slick, nzso.

  • Bought it today via Steam. Fifteen bucks on PSN didn't seem quite right, but ten for the PC version seemed okay--I figured it'd get better support, higher res, etc. It's my first time through Limbo and I'm around an hour in, but I find the controls fairly aggravating: The arrow keys control movement, with the "up" key controlling both climbing and jumping. Doesn't work all that well, and there's no way to change the controls or anything else for that matter. Still, really digging Limbo. I'll probably hook up my game-pad shortly.

  • Hi, I've played it on a laptop and pity it's slow, it looks good. I'd guess <30fps, Intel Core2Duo 2Ghz, GeForce 9300M GS 256MB, 3Gb RAM. I'll have to wait for the lowres version. ran into the same speed issues which unfortunately made the whole thing quite unplayable (jump delay being the most unfortunate). I'm also using a laptop, AMD thingamajiggy 2.3ghz, ATI Radeon 3200 1918MB, 4gb RAM. I'm guessing the blur-depth effects are the cause.

  • Check driver integrity?
