  • The vast majority of the time, replies to old threads are either irrelevant, or spam. Technology moves fast and usually if you think your problem is related to an old thread, it actually is not, and you should start a new thread instead. People got this wrong so consistently we imposed a rule on the forum to enforce it.

The linked thread refers to Construct 2 which was fully retired in 2021 and is no longer supported, so you should not expect any problems with it to be fixed.

So that is spam protection ? Thank you for explaining.

But if you find way to protect site without disabling answering on old comments - it will be cool.

That old topic, but that actual in Construct 3, because that mechanic didnt changed, and if i explain - it can help someone. Also - many users today use Construct 2.

I think its problem, that we cant answer on old topics, but if there no another way to protect site - its acceptable, and i fully agree with that

  • I randomly find this construct.net/en/forum/construct-2/how-do-i-18/web-page-links-not-work-153854 post. And i know - someone can find this, trying to solve their problem. And i wanna to answer that post, so made i help someone. But construct site dont give me to do it. Why? I just wanna know, what a techical problem, that make them to give us option to reply on old posts

  • I really bad at creating save mechanic. I need to create mechanic that

    1. Save settings in menu (language, volume, controll)

    2. Game save(when you pressing new game, that saving every second and or when game close. Like in The Binding Of Issac)

    3. Deleting save, if player die(also like in TBOI)

    4. Loadind menu on start of layout after catsen(And when going from game to menu)

I really need your help, cuz that is the last thing before demo release
