  • You can't - the actions are mutually exclusive. Actions are a result of the Conditions, and 'OR' is a Condition, so would usually be part of the 'If - Or' Condition Event.

    For this case, it may be better to use 'Else', but we would need to see your Events, or a better description of exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

  • Just as the title says really. I can add effects to individual objects, but there doesn't look to be an option for me to add one to the layout itself (or maybe I'm just being blind).

    Just to clarify - are you asking for help with Construct Classic or was this posted in this section by error?

  • Have downloaded the .capx from dop2000 and can verify there is nothing wrong with the file, which just leaves a problem on your system.

    Something is affecting the file either whilst downloading, or after downloading.

    Do you have have problems when launching C2 and opening a template/example?

  • When it fails to load, are there any error messages? Any messages in the windows logs?

    How big is your project? Have you got thousands of images?

    Have you got lots of Layouts / Event sheets open at the same time?

    Under 'File/Preferences/ Misc/Other' have you changed the 'icon' mode?

    Final suggestion - let users here try to load your project and report back to you.

    There is one small problem... My Construct 2 cannot unzip the capx file.

    Am I missing something ..?

    You need to say why you can't open the .capx.

    Do you get an error message? If so, what is the message?

    This version was created in a newer version of C2 than yours but updating to the latest beta (soon to be stable, probably) will fix that.

    What you have posted are the files created when a Construct 2 project is exported. The files themselves are meaningless and don't tell us what the game is or anything else about the project.

    Providing actual game images or game genre would be a better course of action on your part.
