  • I just tried this:

Copy whatever .cap you want into the <Templates> directory, and rename the extension from cap to cst. Create or copy one of the current .bmp files and rename it <your template name>.bmp.

You should then have 2 files, same filename with extensions of ,bmp and .cst.

Start CC, select New Template and there it is. Worked for me.

Interesting style - look forward to a demo :)

  • Having watched my own father die of cancer last year, I wouldn't wish this situation on anyone, and my thoughts go out to him and his family.

Regarding his company, I own an IPhone, and unlocked and jailbreaked it the first day I got it. In my view Apple have become a bigger corporate monster than MicroS**t ever reached in their prime. While I do admire Apple styling, I wouldn't own anything from them again on principle.

  • I'm stunned that people are still moaning about this. Get real people! How are they meant to make a living if they give away the full unlimited version?

I've happily paid even though I don't use C2 yet. It is in the (possibly) vain hope that an exe exporter will eventually appear, but even if it doesn't, they deserve something for all the hard work they have done for us in creating CC and C2.

  • It's an English forum, so English would be nice. You could be saying all types of naughty things, and we'd never know :)

Oh, and hijacking another person's thread is very rude.

  • Say what now!

    New release!

  • The direct link to what chrisbrobs is referring to is HERE.

Here is a (very) rough conversion to CC. Credit is given to R0J0hound for all the code.

  • Ghost shooter is on the main Construct Classic demos page HERE.

  • I know this may sound a little drastic, but here's what I would do.

Make a copy and totally removing all sounds and XAudio2 objects.

    Does it still crash?

Just a thought - have you tried the latest runtimes from Ashley HERE ?

Unfortunately, as it works for the few of us who have tested this, we are kinda shooting in the dark a bit :/

  • Don't know what you mean?

I may have bought the C2 early-adopter license, but I'm still using CC, as are a lot of people on here.

For instance, Chrisbrobs creates something new in CC virtually every 5 minutes :)

  • You download the normal free edition from HERE, and you should get an email with your code as mentioned HERE which tells you how to use it.

It depends on how the keys are created. If it's a manual thing, then it may take a little time depending on the number of people buying the early-adopter license.

  • I wonder if it's hard-coded to the C: drive?

I put mine in the default installation directory on C: and it picked it up instantly. Have you tried putting it in 'My Documents' as well?

  • Have you tried the latest r51 release?

  • Indie.

As I've often commented, I'm not overly interested in C2 until the exe exporter is completed, but these guys need our support.
