  • It's not just slow, it's almost unusable.

    Very, very frustrating.

If you have a licensed copy of C2, then within C2, click the 'info' icon top-left, and select the 'download media' link.

    Is this what you require?

  • You don't say what the bug is?

From a cursory look at your .capx, your first condition checks for a particular UID, but as the manual says, the UID isn't assigned until runtime, so how can you check for it?

  • FFS Joannesalfa, give it a rest. Who do you think you are to insist Ashley does something! He is obviously very busy and 1ill get around to this when he can. Just stop the constant whining, please.

  • As blackhornet has pointed to, UIDs are not assigned until runtime.

  • I already have a license but I went through the process up to and including the PayPal checkout and everything worked fine here.

Just saying it doesn't work is not very helpful. Do you get an error message? What browser are you using? Do you have any addons that may be blocking?

Your last recourse is to send an email to licensehelpdgm@scirra.com

  • It's HERE in the manual.

  • Paradox

I think this is a definite bug, but it is hard to explain. That's why Ashley probably can't re-create it.

Maybe someone with the know-how could create a YouTube movie of the process , so Ashley could see it happen.

  • The difference between to two is mentioned HERE by Ashley.

  • The platform behavior has default keys set to yes, yet you are trying to simulate the same effect, i.e. you don't need event 1. If you want to take total control, set default keys to no.

Also, setting jump strength to 5 is way, way to low.

Make to to place your main sprite over a solid object.

    the manual.

  • This type of question occurs frequently and there are numerous threads with large discussions on this topic, but it boils down to a few salient points:

    1. As far as I'm aware, no one on here is a lawyer, and therefore cannot give adequate legal advise.

    2. If you decide to use graphics that are not your own, then YOU must take responsibility for that action, and any subsequent litigation that could occur because of your actions is then entirely on your shoulders.

    3. Any answer you get here will generally be purely speculative and mostly subjective.

    4. It will ALWAYS be more preferable to create or 'buy-in' any graphics that you intend to use, especially in a commercial venture.

In summary, the choice is yours.

  • I disagree entirely.

The whole point is for people to look in that section for answers before posting a question.

It is generally 'forum etiquette' for the OP to amend the post with the addendum 'SOLVED'.

  • I originally missed the step about highlighting the 'cloud' sprite in the top left Projects tab, before clicking in the empty area. It now does indeed crash every time for me.
