  • Ashley has previously stated that Construct 2 is Windows only for the foreseeable future (he's the only developer).

    It is still possible to use C2 on a Mac by use of other programs such as Parallels.

  • Yes there is a canvas plugin and a newer Paster plugin, both by R0J0hound, in the Completed Addons section.

  • Your .capx is corrupt and missing the Textures folder as well as many animations.

    Hopefully you have the backups setup.

    Where are you saving to? Is it a local or virtual drive?

  • It really is ridiculous at times. How can a site take 10 minutes to load a page? It just looks unprofessional.

    What's also ridiculous is the number of new users such as this lot:

  • Have you tried this:

    Logout, then click 'Delete all board cookies' link in footer, then go to arcade and login (tick remember me).

  • I've already made a post about his a few days ago, when the Store was launched. It can take up to 5 minutes now just to read a post. Site is awful to use at these times.

  • If, as Ashley states, it could potentially take up to a year to recode the IDE with virtually no updates to C2, this looks like commercial suicide to me.

    Income would seriously drop whilst people hold on for 'C3', which could have the disastrous effect of killing Scirra completely, all for the sake of a few IDE enhancements that would probably only benefit the minority of users (although a poll would clarify this greatly).

    I can see the need for enhancements, but at what cost?
