  • Have you seen the ragdoll example that is bult-in to C2?

Select 'File/New' and type ragdoll into the search box.

There are also numerous threads about ragdoll physics if you use the forum search.

  • If it's a bug, then surely it must be reproducible in a new .capx. If you can't reproduce, then there is little Ashley can do, especially if it's a very large game.

It would also help to say what version of C2 you are currently using.

Have you tried an earlier backup?

The general method for bug finding is to load an earlier version, and check carefully as you re-add the newer features, and hopefully determine what is breaking your game.

  • Not enough information.

What version of C2 are you using?

If latest beta (r207) have you tried going back to r206?

Is it with all projects or just one in particular?

If it is just one, does it use non-standard plugins?

  • The node-webkit side of C2 was stripped from the installation of C2 a long time ago (massively reducing the download size).

You need to install node-wekit separately, and it can be downloaded from here:

You haven't followed the guidelines, which means this is likely to be closed automatically.

The only canvas plugin I know of is R0J0hound's, and as stated in the bug reporting guidelines, non-standard plugins are not supported in this section.

If you are referring to R0Johound's plugin, then you should report it in his own plugin thread.

  • No-one is here to do the work for you - unless you are willing to pay.

The link Torpedo gave and Rojo referred to pretty much covers what you are after. You just need to understand and experiment a little.

Play around with the .capx and try out your ideas, then if you still need help, post your .capx.

Users are generally more helpful if you have shown you are trying things for yourself.

    Pricey, IMO.

  • No problems here.

    Can you elaborate?

More of a Skyrim fan, really, but thought I'd give it a go to test the new rig I just built.

Quite like it, but still prefer Skyrim.

Anywho, just killed my first griffin

  • Those who have purchased a license through Steam don't automatically get a badge. They can request one from Tom if they send certain details to him.

  • I think Ashley is being more than accomodating with the free version - allows everyone to see what's really possible.

Anyway. Enough talk - back to Witcher 3

  • It depends on the template. If it were to have families, or some other non free feature then it won't work if all you have is the free version.

Each template has its own comments section, you might ask the individual template creator if it is compatible.

Obviously you would still not be able to generate revenue with the templates till you have a full license.

    Not entirely true.

The free version can open and run projects that have used non free features, and also if over 100 events. The free version just cannot alter the project in any way.

So the OP could purchase a template, as perhaps a learning tool, but if they wouldn't be able to amend it if, as you say, it overstepped the free version parameters.

  • This section is for actual bugs in the C2 software. If that's what you are reporting, then you will need to follow the guidelines and give detailed steps to replicate.

If this is just a possible problem with your events that you don't understand, then this is entirely the wrong section. You should post in the 'How Do I' section for such things.

His url is fine - just remove spaces, and it downloads OK.

  • Your estimated memory use within C2 is nearly half a gig, which I'd guess may be a problem for quite a few mobile phones.

Ashley has answered many questions and written blogs on dealing with mobiles and it's imperative that you design with mobiles in mind from the very begining.

As an example, just one graphic - the GoldenStar - is nearly half a MB and is 1276x1276.

Here's a useful blog from Ashley:
