    Hi everyone,

    I know this topic is old, it seems that the updates fixed this problem.

    However, I'm working with Spriter and having this exact issue. I'm pinning a sprite form C2 to a imported sprite from Spriter, and it gets delayed.

    Even using other methods like updating position every tick has this delay going on.

    Any sugestions?

    This a 4 year old 'closed' bug report, which the sticky specifically states that you should not post in.

    If you have an actual bug, please post a new bug report, remembering to fulfil all of the Bug Reporting Requirements.

    If it's just assistance you require, then please just post in the C2 'How Do I' section.

  • Also, using Google search with the 'site:' qualifier can be very useful.

  • It starts for me at around 5000/tick but just steadily increases. As I said, I stopped it at over 10000/tick. If a game's collisions steadily increase like that then it has a major problem with the code.

    Edit: Double checked and it is doing what I have posted, for me at least.

  • Ah. Well this is a different kettle of fish.

    Check and you will see after several seconds, collisions increases steadily. I stopped it after it got to performing over 10000 collision checks every 60th of a second, which is really bad.

    Look at the profile tab also to see where where most of the time is spent.

  • Remember that the debug window is artifically high due to the work it is doing. Use the Profile tab.

    Regardless, I'm seeing around 5% in debug and <1% in Profile tab.

    Sorry but the .capx can not tell why this project intend to sell it and have invested many hours of work on it.

    If it works in preview, the Scirra Arcade and Newsgrounds, then it must be your host that is the issue, and there is little we can do about that.

    Check the error console of your browser. This should tell you what is happening and what the problem may be.

    You have provided virually no information to enable anyone to help you.

    What does the browser console have to say? Any error messages?

    Where have you uploaded it to?

    Does it work in preview? How much memory does it say it will use?

    Does it have a lot of assets?

    Have you tried it on any other sites?

    Have you tried with different browsers?

    Most importantly, if you want quick, effective assistance, always try to provide either a .capx, screenshots, or/and a link to the exported game, so we can also test it for you.

    Without these, it's just guesswork.
