    I cant seem to figure out how to make a platform move up and down. in a small area. How is this done?

    I tried custom movement. But i couldnt find a way.

    Ah yes, i forgot to place my "deadzone" on the the ones below, whoops hehe.

    Theres only one lvl for now. But i'll update the game soon with more levels. :- )

  • Hi Guys, im finaly comming along with my new idea for a physics game.

    Goal: You need to destroy the red jewels by drobbing a ball.

    You can either hit them, or bounce them to the ground.

    The thing i really want to work on in this beta is the "Tools"

    You can use theese to accomplish your goal.

    If anyone would leave a comment or two. I would be very happy.

    Also regarding the perfomance, if you will.

    Ofcourse Flash games are more popular at the momment.

    Its been great for a long time. And many publich games on flash gaming sites. But im sure Html5 will become as popular. Wait a year or two.

    Theres great potential in html5.

    in my opinion anyways.

    Im making a ball game, where the ball should "slide" on metal bars.

    Im trying to figure out how to make the ball stick to a certain metal bar, and gain speed (accelerate).

    Can anyone give an example? If its possible.

    ps. The ball uses the physics object.

  • Ah, alright i see. Well. For me, it was just a problem of allowing connections in firewall and router.

    But yeah, its strange that i wouldnt work withought opening ports.

    But it works now, so thats perfect!

    "Every computer should be shipped and made with a standard open connection for Construct2 on port 50000 then" hehe ;)

  • Ah, i finally got it working.

    "Ashley" - No i didnt have any server programs running.

    But, for others that might have this problem.

    I went to preferences in construct, and choose a different port.

    The default port was "50000" (50.000)

    I changed that to 5000 (5.000)

    Which i actually allowed my firewall to grant, and a portforward in my router.

    But, how about using port 1221-1222 as standard in construct?

    Thats the default http port, should be open on all routers i think?

    Just an idea, not sure if that port works, but it should? and people wont have this problem.

    It worked when i uploaded the exported project to my web server.

    didnt work when i used "Preview File"

  • Hi Guys.

    Ive been trying to add a click sound, when i click an object.

    I tried several audio formats. Pcm wav, that is imported successfully didnt work either.

    I have some background music, that plays fine.

    But the "on object clicked" = play click sound

    Dosnt work.

    Any ideas?

    Could it be because of the bg music?

  • Hi, its not that the browser dosnt open. But i get an:

    Service Unavailable

    HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.

    In ALL Browsers! ( Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc. )

    I can only use the "File Preview" unfurtunatly.

    Still trying some things out. But any help is apreciated!

  • i hope they wont remove the "file preview" until we, who have problems, get this fixed!
