  • Some updates, check the head of the topic, now you can die and that's awsome.

  • Ahah or find a way to simulate that the printscreen is down :D

Oh and btw, do you use touchscreen control ? For sure that will be good !

  • Hey good idea!

I had done something in the same genre, but the fact that I can't export the final image was a problem, so I left this idea!

So, maybe your .paint will be better with an export function, and if the drawing don't change when you change the size of the brush!

I'll be curious to know if that ideas are possible!

  • 01lifeleft : Ahah life is a cup of tea! And well I hope I can solve this problem with the jump-tru, I'm sure it's because of my events, I've to check and fix it!

talkinghead : Thank you, I hope that what comes next please you too!

GenkiGenga : Hey! I really appreciate your point of view! I really expected that the whole game was in this style, this is not so much a problem of zoom or resolution :D But now that you talk to me of that, I also found my avatar prettier, I may be considered to change something in my style, but I think I can fix that later! My last attempt of making a game was made with some pixelart too (the game, and well the resolution was maybe better ...

Yeah for sure Sword&Sworcery was a good example!

  • Ahah no, i don't really say that, proof is that i've played 15min with your game with a real interest. So, I just try to say that your game is cool, but it would be better with neat graphism and these minor bugs correct, for me a game wasn't just the gameplay.

I'm ok with you but why settle for the minimum?

Anyway I was only there for constructive criticism, nothing aggressive against your game!

  • Check this topic, i'm sure that can help you !

  • Yes it's possible!

Insert the Mouse object, then add an event where you set the cursor style to "none".

  • Yup that works!

You just need better graphics, and correct some minor bugs (like change the direction of the character when we press left, collision polygon...) and then you get a good game!

  • There is a problem with you pop-up when we click on start, I use chrome.

  • Thanks Ashley for the compliments!

I just fix the problem with the platform movement with using the invisble rectangle sprite.

I added "jump-thru" to the platform and deleted the "solid" behaviours, that works great, exept when a platform overlaps another platform, any ideas ?

Check the link on the head of the topic for the update.

  • Ahah yeah I love pixels, and I love minimalist rendering!

I'm aware that currently this is a very limited demo, but I also opened this topic to motivate me, and see the progress and list the problems!

Thank you for your opinion !

  • I reaaly like your game, especially for the gameplay and the difficulty.

But I think that using the arrow keys rather than A & D keys would be a better thing, especially for those using an AZERTY keyboard!

  • Yup!

Here's a demo of a game i make. Some bugs inside, some sprites are missing, but feel free to give feedback.

    Stay tuned.
