  uh inkscape is vector editor and Krita raster. They are different beasts and you cant really compare them.

  Illustrator = inkscape

  PS = Krita/Gimp/PDN

  Agree with the above and saying photoshop is the best.... again completely different from inkscape :/

  Depends what you want to do bud sprites or vector images (Still sprites but not pixel)

  I had my trailer done for $135USD and it was 13 seconds,

  Also to the other questions,

  6 Because they could be to different projects or just icons for HUD's,

  The size can be any size you would like it to be,

  As i work with vector it takes me a second to scale to any size,
