  • Did you remember that in C2 arrays are zero based?

    Damn you, exactly.

  • 2 identical projects here

First from Construct 2, second from Construct classic

This is an example of saving and loading data from an array but in project from Construct 2 there is a problem with array.

System must create blocks on it's coordinates from array and it's works fine except first of them. It is created by the coordinates 0,0

  • There must be some kind of sync problem. If you aren't, try using dropbox software.

    I'm already using this one.

Okay, i will try to re-install it.

    It didn't help.

    I wrote to tech support

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Just a thought - you did make sure the export option said 'HTML5 web site' ?

Maybe Kastas could send you his test .capx and you could try exporting that?

    yes, html5 web site

Kastas uploaded my file that I exported.

So I think that there is no any difference.

  • Really strange. I've never had an issue using DropBox.

Have you tried exporting any other projects?

    Kastas

    Your link works here.

Only this one over 9k times

    test

So if you upload my project and it's works fine then the problem is not in the export. Maybe something with my DropBox?

  • Is it possible that you have used all of 10Gb/day bandwidth limit?

    No :D

  • I used this tutorial to upload my project.

But when I follow the link (index.html), I get 404 error on the DropBox website

  • > And to make this game for iPad I need iPad :D

actually you don't sir. don't ever limit your possibilities with assumptions. i published my first game on the app store without ever having an iphone or ipod touch to test it with, and i even used the accelerometer for movement controls. i simply had other people test it for me, and you can do the same here.

    where there's a will, and a great game idea...there's a way.

    find a way.

You are selling this game or it's free?

    Also, do you have iPad?

  • vladoss,

i absolutely LOVE this game sir. the simplicity of the 'mechanism' along with the difficulty of the layouts is near perfect for sucking players 'in'.

yes, the first level took me a while, but i beat it. the satisfaction of the replay and the 'well done' are...well done.

could very easily be an ipad game. laying down the squares with your fingers and then watching the result is an incredible interaction, that i think would appeal to kids and adults with this game.

please finish and find a way to publish this game sir.

i think you have 'found the fun'.

The best review I've ever seen. Big thanks!

I would be very happy to publish this game but first I need to finish it.

And to make this game for iPad I need iPad :D

  • Oh I'm feeling stupid because before the tuto I was mad with your game, but know I understand, and well, it's really good game!

    Good job.

    Thanks :)

    I released a new update.

    Some changes:

+ optimization of load blocks when restarting level

    + 4 level

+ point about buttons in the tutorial

  • Urrgh i just lost a pretty long post so forgive me but im just going to sum up what i said in brief points.

    1. New tutorial is great! - you havent explained the swtches and doors though. (maybe that is already on the way)

    2. Playing your game was fun now - but level 1 was too hard for me! I made it to the last switch but ill be damned if i know how to get back! On one hand i am frustrated i couldnt beat it - at the same time that same frustration is kind of drawing me back to trying again.

    3. The more i played the game the more unresponsive the site was becoming. (kept saying scirra.com is not responding) I was using IE9

All in all - a very good update to the game. Keep it coming :)

P.s Yes this is me trying to be brief lol.

Thanks! I can say on the third item that the algorithm of blocks saving is very "curve", I rewrote it so it does not freeze now. I will add it with a new update ;)

  • Tom fixed error and now i can update game and try tutorial! ;3

  • You are going to fix it?
