  • bscarl88 you should get alot better fps when build the app i don't think the testing app uses the new crosswalk stuff

  • he is asking are you running it in safari or cocoonjs or anything else because that effects performance

  • i know it isn't as organized as groups would be but you could do something like this IN_learning or PHY_Strength

    thats what i do and it helps and makes edits to related objects easy because they are all listed in order together

  • double click the sprite you want to replace it will open the image editor in the top right corner there is a folder icon click that and browse to the new image .... you should read the manual and some tutorials

  • well if it was working in the last stable build why dont you go back to that till whatever the problem is gets fixed if your waiting to release your game i think that would be a better option for u

    Edit: i had this problem but in the newest beta my framerate has improved back to normal you should test it out maybe it will do the same for you

  • C2 148 does drop performance it cocoonjs but its beta it will most likly be fixed when the next C2 stable comes out if you dont want to wait till then just downgrade construct back to the last stable version

  • no if you mean for each family member (1familygroup) you say create familyname like i said and it will randomly spawn a object thats in that family

    but if u mean like you have 5 different familys you could use instance variables on the hiddenoject to choose the family you want to create the might be a better way for this one but i cant think of any

  • you can have a hidden sprite then at start of layout or whenever you want your random sprite to appear put a System>create object action have x be = to hiddenspitename.x and y =hiddensprite.y to create the family at the hidden sprite

  • go to your browsers download loctaion an delete the installer file then restart the download. browers sometime keep your halfway downloaded stuff witch cause errors when you try restarting that download
