    Problem Description

    C2 crashes when i try to import any "music" or "sound" file.

    Attach a Capx

    as it's an editor issue, and happens even in new blank projects, no capx attached...

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

      [1] Right click on either Sound or Music in the Projects window, "Import sounds/music" [2] "Open File" window pops up [3] C2 crashes

    Observed Result

    Crashes

    Expected Result

    Be able to select a file and procced to its conversion.

    Operating System and Service Pack

    NET framework 3.5 for Windows 8.1

    Sooo everytime I try to impor any “Music” or “Sound” file Construct2 crashes

    I had a look here in the forums, and saw that most problems with audio files are seemingly due to bad encoding and so. But in my case I don't even need to select (left alone convert) any file: as soon as the “Open File” window pops up, “Construct stopped working” etc. Since it happened first, I havent been able to import any audio file in any project – even new ones, so dont think ill need a capx in this case. Tried to reinstall C2, to no avail.

    Anybody with a similar problem? Any help will be most welcome.
