  • Hi Mayfly, Thanks for the comment. I also think I will stick to Ludei. I have applied for a premium account so that I can add Admob, so do share your tips for implementing Admob. It is a rather difficult task to get started exporting and getting adds etc. I must say, my game looks great with Cocoonjs. Nice and smooth. The only thing that worries me is the big file size. Any advice on that?

    Can anyone tell me how to fix this, when trying to view the app via LAN it normally works but I still get the error message and now it don't want to work anymore:

    Javascript error!

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot properly read 'TagName' of null

    http://19x.xxx.x.xxx:50000/, line 283 (col undefined)

    This is either a bug in Construct2 or a problem in a third party plugin or behaviour - please report it to the developer!

    I am running windows XP. Do I need to check my Java updates or what? I am totally clueless. Is the problem with the Tablet perhaps?

    CAn you guys perhaps share with me which is best to export games to Android and Amazon. I've tried Intel SDK and I get a blank screen to start of with, so I'm reading up to find the solution. This is way more complicated than figuring out how to make a game.

    Also, which works best for Admob ads in your opinion. Construct is fine but I'm now starting to realize that it is a mission making the games have exceptional quality with images etc. and getting my game to work on all screen sizes.

    Thank you for the quick response. I wish there was a step by step guide I'll try and figure out how certain parts work because like I said I'm a total beginner and just missing one step if not showed clearly, throws me off. I'll keep working at it. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.

    Can anyone help me to create an educational game where I want to have the numbers 1,2 and 3 and an image of the number 3 elsewhere on the screen. he user then has to use the mouse/touch to drag the correct number inside the picture and if correct it should play a sound or create a new image.

    I've tried looking for videos and tutorials but can't find anything or perhaps I'm not using the proper search terms. Still very new to programming and Construct 2. Thank you in advance.

    I recently found out about Scirra. The only problem is that the USD, GBP, EUR are like 10 to 15 times stronger than our currency, making is really expensive. Is here any way that I can find a way to get slight discount? I'm saving up but $119 is the equivalent of $1000 when you look at it from my side. I'm excited to buy.

    I just want to know if:

    • it is really easy to export projects to make them work on any android phone
    • I can add admob to my games and if that is easy too?

    I've learned Java but it is a mission and I can't create games and C2 looks like it might help but I don't want to invest and then have to buy more software or can't do anything with it. I appreciate your answers. Also, is there anything I should know about that are major concerns?
