  • Thank you very much I will try this out! Really appreciated!

  • Hi,

Can you post your easy fix, I have been trying to figure this one out for weeks now without any success.

    Thanks.

  • I ran more test and sadly my happy ending with XDK Crosswalk for Analytics came to an end. I was able to compile and publish the work using another plugin suggested by Intel but analytics was simply not feeded with this plugin. So sadly up to now I have abandonned until either Intel or Scirra comes up with an solution.

One plugin seems to work but I have not tried it and it's cranberries Phone gap bundle. Drawback you need to purchase the entire bundle for 25$ or so and e-mail to creator so he can e-mail you the bundle. I did not want to spent money on that.

  • Thank you for your feedback, it's really appreciated.

For the background music, I am surprise you did not hear any because I have 5 song I composed that play randomly in background, what type of mobile device did you use?

A tutorial, is required, I did one but got many feedback to make it more clear. I will work on that one

The brightness I added because when on a device during daylight the screen was always dark , so yes it is kind of cheating but i was divided on letting a defined opacity or allowing the user to change it so they can play in daylight. I still have no ultimate solution to this one

New game mode is a really good Idea I never though about it. I will start sketching up some ideas for that.

Thank you very much for taking time to test it out and your insights are really appreciated.

If you ever need a tester for your game or existing please feel free to contact I will gladly help

    Thanks again!

  • Your game looks interesting, nice work there. I vote yes on greenlight!

  • Thanks alot really appreciated. I downloaded Toby's world today. You did a really good job there, fun game and I am really enjoying it. Really good control and gameplay!

  • Well it looks like I need 500 rep to send PM or to add a link.

You can search "Masks of light" in google play it is the first pick (Blue icon with 2 masks hand drawn on it) published by redthumbapp.

Thanks for your help. And by the way my kids are loving your game have trouble getting my own phone now.

  • Please any feedback would be welcome. I uploaded the game to Scirra Arcade, simply look it up under puzzle game.

    Thanks!

  • Your game is really addictive. I like it. Game play is clear and easy to use. The only part I struggle a bit was with the first menu where the screen seem a bit blank and I did not know where to click. Also maybe text for the menu icon? I tried all of them to figure out what they were for and got the hang of it afterwards. Really nice work with the Google Play feature and all the achievements.

I open the shop, only thing that would be cool is the display to price to unlock the game.

    Really good work there!

  • It works now. Weird but I can start testing I will be giving you feedback soon!

  • Hi I just tried to download your game on google play after accepting to become a tester but I got an error message from google pay "cannot find title".

    Any clues?

  • Thanks , this is really cool. I just added it to my new built and everything compile correctly with Intel XDK.

Can't wait to see the results.

  • Hi all,

I just publish my first game Masks of Light on Google Play. I made the game entirely with construct 2 and Intel XDK.

I wish to have feedback and see if everything is running fine with my game. It is free.

It is currently far down the list under puzzle games.

Any feedback would be really appreciated!

  • Thanks for the info Arima <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I did try to turn off the clear background after reading your post but without success (using a 16x720 tiledbackground).

I read the link you sent me, in my case I only have this gradient back ground that will cover the entire screen, all my others layers uses smaller sprites and tilebackgrounds objects with a layer transparency active.

My biggest sprite is around 213x180 is that too big?

I will try with the "Clear background" at "off" with a single sprite stretch to 960x720 this in a couple of hours and will let you know if that worked better.

    Thanks again it really appreciate!

  • Hi all,

I have an issue with a simple gradient background I made for a game.

When I run the game without it, I stick around 40fps. As soon as the background is added it drop to 20fps.

I tried a tilebackground 16x720, a sprite 32x32 that I resize to fit the layout (960X720) , I even tried the full image 960x720 (which I know will hit performance) but whatever I do the fps drop 50%.

I have the same fps behavior on my Acer Iconia tablet and Galaxy S3 phone. I am using CocoonJS for export.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciate <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
