  • Can't you use platform(or bullet)+solid behaviors instead of physics for at least one of those objects?

Than you could just set solid behavior off when they colide/overlap

  • You just have to place the object with the "platform" and "scroll to" behaviors down there where you want it. The screen will automatically follow it.

  • Can someone explain me this better?

I'm having problems with it and cant manage to make it work.

I didn't understand what you said here:

Or, you can pick by the sprites index "pick "nth"". This is unique to named object types, so all instances of the same object are easier to pick

If possible could you show me an example?

What I'm trying to do is hit the button "1" of the keyboard to activate the object with 50 opacity. It will follow the mouse cursor untill I click the mouse left button. And than if I hit the button "1" again I want the new object to follow the mouse cursor. (My attempts are leading to all objects created follow the mouse cursor or the wrong object to follow it)

    --EDIT--

Oooh nevermind.. I just got it.

I set pick "nth" to pick the object count + 1 and its working exactly as I wanted :D

    Thanks anyway :)

  • I meant to make the event for the solid tramp (trampoline2) be a colision event. Anyway, that doesn't work properly too and I wonder why...

But what you told me to do seems to be working fine, thanks :)

  • I had this problem and now it's working fine after Ashley's last fix update.

  • Simple:

Instead of creating a mirrored animation like "movingright" and "mirrorleft", you only create a "moving" animation.

Than you set the key to adjust the angle:

if left key is pressed, set angle to 180, if right key is pressed, set angle to 0

make sure to check "Auto Mirror" in the player's properties

  • Hello everyone!

This is my very first post here, I tried to find something on the forums about this but I couldn't so I hope you can help me out :)

So what I want is to have a platform player that can bounce on a ground just like a trampoline. So everytime the player jumps on the trampoline he will be pushed a little bit higher than his original maximum height before touching on the trampoline.

This is what I managed to do:

It bounces perfectly when it doesn't have a solid behavior, but I want it to behave as a solid so the player can't walk through it.

As you can see in the example, I tried to hide a normal solid ground behind it to fake a solid behavior but it doesn't work very well.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks!
