  • Never mind, I found another Backup (since i make construct do backUps on different times) that is quite recent i will work from there, Thanks for the help

  • Yes I have tried older backups and Auto saves they all have the same problem, i found one backup from around 3 months ago which does work.....but that's a lot of work gone missing.

  • When I try to open my project a window opens which says the following:

    "Failed to open project 'C:\Users\Construct.caproj':

    Error reading end tag.

    Line 564, column 21

    The file may be invalid. Try checking the file in a text editor (projects are saved in XML format)"

    I opened the file in Notepad and on that line was Null codes, also a few lines afterwords, is there anyway to fix this, i also tried opening the backup file....same problem occurs.

  • Another thing I just checked my Texture folder and all the images there are corrupt or damaged but all my sprite images are fine

    I'm not sure if this has something to do with what I added within my program but all of the sudden construct gives me an error message saying that one of the sheets are empty and won't open my project any help with this would be appreciated.

    The complete error message is

    I tried opening the Auto save but same thing happens, Last time I was in the project I saved properly and exited

  • I have never used physics in my game dont need it ( I think) but anyways I opened a back up copy and started again from there and now it works fine dont know what was wrong but hopefully wont happen again

  • Hi im trying to export my game for android via crosswalk and intel XDK it has been working for the few tests and now

    when i install and run the games on my tablet it is just runs a black screen after the splash screen, any ideas why this would happen

  • Might someone help me I would like to create a special effect if a certain object is touched for 2 seconds I have looked at all the conditions for touch and have no idea how to do it

  • yes im just wondering cause it used to work before on my older games i exported, it still does with older games i can open them just wondering why it changed with the new exported games.

  • Hi guys sorry to bother, when i exported my game it pops up with an error when i try open it which says

    "Exported games won't work until you upload them. (When running on the file:/// protocol, browsers block many features from working for security reasons.)"

    is there any way to work around this since i do not want to upload it anywhere since its not close to finished?

  • Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong forum didnt exactly know where to place it, i can upload my games to the construct 2 arcade it keeps on saying please publish with new version 162 well i followed the link installed the version re exported the game and still no success can anyone help me
