  • Well, no, my game don't uses any multisampling effects, and there's no Motion Blur.

The scripting mode is not activated, so there's no python.

    EDIT: <font color=green>Problem resolved !</font>

The problem was with the "Eye Distance (3d)", I don't why, but the value was changed. The value was 0 instead of 500...

    Stange, so I've restored the value to 500 and <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thanks for the help anyway.

  • Hey, thanks !

    Never heard about this soft

  • Hi all,

Well, today I have a serious problem with my finished Construct Classic game.

The problem is that my game don't want to play, when I start the EXE I get a black screen, and nothing other, just a black screen.

I've tried to update my DX but all seems to be updated.

    What's the problem ?...

    I'm working on Windows 7.

  • Ah...

Ok, so the prob is with the VM...

Ok, anyway, thanks for your help :)

I'll test on real machines later.

  • That's done, I've installed the DX updater, the error come back, so after that I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable - KB2467175 and the error come back again...

    No solution ?

  • Hi guys,

I've finaly finished my game on CC, but when I launch the exported EXE, I get this error:

    <img src="http://img11.hostingpics.net/pics/529776failed.png" border="0" />

    -Runtime error

Construct encountered an error in the display engine. Please report this problem to the application developper.

    Failed to initialise Direct3D 9! (0x8876086a)

Actually I get this error on a mounted virtual machine (in VirtualBox), the specs of the machine are :

    Windows XP SP3

    2GB RAM

    Video : 128 MB

and the game uses 14 VRAM.

But that's very strange... My game don't use any 3D effect of CC.

The game is did only with 2D sprites... So why this error ?

I don't want my game to use any effects related to Direct3D, how can I do this on CC ?

'Cause actually it's a small and fast game, I don't want the user to install big 3D drivers to play to a simple 2D game.

    What's the solution ? <img src="smileys/smiley18.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thanks.

    T. Kretts.

  • Great, thanks guys !

  • I'd like to random between two values, like this:

    <img src="http://img15.hostingpics.net/pics/341228random.png" border="0" />

  • That's if I want to random between two values, right ?

  • Hi all,

I'm having trouble with Construct Classic.

Actually I want to spawn sprites in random positions, in Construct 2 the syntax is "Random(value , value)" but in CC it seems to be different...

Can anyone say me what's the syntax to spawn sprites between two values please.

    Thanks. :)

  • Ahh... now as you tell me this, I understand better what CC do with audio files...

    Works fine, thanks ! :)

By the way, is there any tutorials to have good beggins in CC ?

  • Hi all,

Actually I have a little problem with the audio channels, it's a very messy thing.

I want a sound to play when I left click, so I did that:

    AT START OF LAYOUT:

XAudio: Load file "AppPath" & "pistolfire.ogg" to Channel 2 (Non Loop)

    WHEN LEFT CLICK:

    XAudio: Play Channel 2

    --

So, the sound plays one time, when I left click, but when I click again, the sound is don't playing again.

As you can read, my prob is that the sound don't play again and again, I want the sound to play again and again when I click to the left button of my mouse.

What's the problem ? (Seriously, I don't like how actually Construct Classic works with audio files... I prefer the Construct 2 method, but I know... Technologies etc...)

    Thanks guys <img src="smileys/smiley10.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Ahhh....

I don't saw it, it's at the end of "OBJECTS".

    Thanks dude ! ;)

  • Hello all,

    Why Construct Classic don't have the "Wait x seconds" action ? <img src="smileys/smiley6.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I need it, it's very helpful.

Is there anything similar to it ?

    Thanks.

  • Thanks for the response, the prob was with a sprite.
