  It's a problem with the space in the name. I'm thinking the best way to solve it is not allow spaces in names (replace them all with underscores). Will look into this this week.

  bremen, we'll try but not sure if possible. Regarding wasting bandwidth you wont need to finish the download, just start it. We'll do a blog post to let everyone know when we do hit 1m and will confirm this.

  That's just a small script that takes the username, and redirects to the correct profile URL.

  I'll have to check, but I do beleive the forums are more active. I haven't written any stats scripts for number of posts each day yet, but traffic to the forum itself (number of page views) looks to be trending upwards since the new forum was released.

  The download counter is an aggregate of some other distributors as well (Steam for example). It would be really hard (impossible) to actually pin down the millionth download!

  Doc no it doesn't. Worth mentioning is the counter is cached, which means it doesn't update in real time either it updates every 5-10 mins
