  • Works fine here. Pretty cute.

I might suggest "is in touch" for the actual painting, rather than "on touch".

You could add a "every x seconds" to slow the spawns.

Cheers! I might try your suggestion to see how it goes & what difference it makes when it "is in touch". You found the bug I had straight off the bat, I had to slow the rate down for each block/spray (spawn) size as it was creating the colouring sprites way to quick without the limitations, I ended up using every .2, .4 & .6 of a second as the size got larger - initially there ended up being 1000's of sprites on the page before the limitations of spawns per second.

It is not working for me in chrome or mozilla.

    I got this:

That looks fine to me, I'm not sure what error you are getting? There's not many limitations on where you can colour in - I only stop the colouring in from being on the bottom text or on the right hand side where the brush selections & colour selections are. Some images you can paint over the image lines, that's why I put in the "bring cartoon to front option" - so that the image goes over the top of the coloured in sections/spawns.

  • Here's a colouring book that I made for my boy, it works ok, heaps of pics to colour in, 2 types of brushes - spray & block, with a save feature... the codes a bit rough as I was winging it throughout the project - but it still runs ok. My ambitions early we larger than what they are now.

Here it is on site: http://elitegameapps.com/ColoringBook/index.html (I had slow load times, possibly the host)

I don't know what to do next, maybe some kind words here will spur me along to polish it up & make something out of it - further development or apps? It has been a large project... but I lost enthusiasm along the way (I discovered Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare - which was a large distraction).

It is touch compatible, mobile friendly(ish), if I chose that path I'd need to enlarge the text & nav' buttons.

I don't know what to expect here, maybe some kind words of encouragement to gain some much needed enthusiasm.

    Cheers guys!
