  • My game is already published in Google Play, but if I install it in my Android mobile, play it and save some progress (with local webstorage) and later the game is updated via Google Play, the saved progress is lost when I open the newly installed version. Is this normal? Is there any way to avoid this?

  • You need to put your loop inside something that only happen 1 time.

  • Hi there!

    I need to add up all the elements in an array to get their total sum, so I tried using a loop in order not to make an action for each element in the array, but it keeps on looping forever.

    It looks like "x = x+1" doesn't work only once per loop cycle in Construct 2 as in other programming languages. It keeps on adding endlessly.

    I made and attached a simplified CAPX file for your analysis.

  • Hi there! This is my first Construct 2 game. It's about a frog that turns ugly human princesses into cute frog princesses <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile"> It still needs a lot of work but I hope you like it. Let me know your thoughts!

    Regarding the style it's got, I'd call it pseudo-retro style since it's got a black background and 8-bit style sound effects (like an old Atari 2600 game), but graphics are made from vector drawings.

  • I have this same problem. I have several text boxes and the tab order isn't right since I modified my layout after I designed the first part.

    It thought that tab order was dictated by the objects' UID, but I made a little test changing the objects' UID's in the layout's XML file and it didn't work.

    The tabindex property is definitely needed in the object properties -please.
