  • Great idea, it's a bit of a revelation seeing something like this made using construct!

I would say you were successful in your goal of improving UI design, this looks really clean and professional.

Do you have any plans to release on iOS?

  • I found the problem. I needed to have 'Force Own Texture' checked in the Layer properties.

  • I am experiencing a problem in my attempts to utilise the 'Destination Out' effect. (Or, any other effects for that matter)

All I am attempting to do is cut a rectangular shape out of another rectangular sprite, as such I am simply using a coloured square as the sprite image. Instead the sprite simply turns black, not interacting with the sprite beneath it in any way.

Strangely, the blend mode example project seems to be working fine.

Is there something I am missing here? Should the sprite image depict something more complex like in the example file for it to work?

  • Hi :)

I can't see an obvious way to detect the ID of a Sprite object that is being overlapped by another. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this/if I'm missing something? Thanks!

Through this I am hoping to create a 'Marker' system.

I currently have a level with many platform sprites at different heights, i want a marker sprite to spawn over the platform at the point where a user clicks. By knowing the ID of this platform I'll be able to access it's co-ordinates (specifically it's Y co-ordinate) and therefore, combined with the X co-ordinate of the users click location, spawn said marker.

Just thought I'd clarify my intentions in case someone can think of a better way of doing this!
