  • Hi,

I made some tests using C2 and Blackberry Webworks. I believe there is a problem with the sound. The first appearance of each sound works well, but when there is a second attempt to play the same sample it just plays twice. Do you have the same experience?

I was tested the test apps on my Playbook (not simulator)

  • Wow, I tried this, but first it did not work, however it works when we both use audio file name like a tag and the optional tag below.

Thank you very much for your time explaining this! :)

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yes, of course <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle">

    Here is it:

    TestSound.capx

Actually the problem is on the 3-rd line of the event sheet.

When the command is Audio -> Stop "do2" the sound just does not stop.

However if there is no tag for the specific audio it works.

    Thank you in advance!

  • Hello,

When I want to stop from playing a specific audio file (for example: audio -> stop with a tag "anysound" with anysound.ogg & m4a in the library), I think that it does not work. If I use the general stop command without any tag it works, however I would like to be able to choose which sound to stop if more than 1 sound is playing.

Is there something that I miss, or it is just a bug ;)

    Thanks!

  • Thank you very much for this info! Actually I learned about audiosprites and the concept seems quite interesting, so I will give it a try. About the MP3 I will really try to avoid them in games for such a severe license fee <img src="smileys/smiley3.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hello everybody,

I am trying to make a game with sound for iPad & Blackberry, however none of these devices play my .ogg & .m4a sounds. I am trying to modify the c2runtime and to include .wav or .mp3, but with no success.

I would love to see some of the next releases of C2 to include the option to use also .wav files (I know that for the .mp3 is quite difficult)

Any help is very much appreciated.

    Thanks <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Hi!

I have just purchased my copy of the Standard Edition of C2!

I would like to make games for Blackberry via PhoneGap and hope that some of the next releases of C2 will support sound as well.

    Have a nice day
