  • I need a bit help you seem to be experienced, please help. When i click right or left arrow to move right or left on clicking the character shakes for 0.5sec something like this the origin point and poly is correct i tried removing every event without right left but nothing got fixed, it happened suddenly after i made a fuction screen shake, but even after deleting this nothing fixes, HELP ME PLEASE.

    The best thing to do is to open a new thread specific to your issue as they don't like they post new issues on other threads not related to yours as they will see it as Spam.

    So make sure you open a new thread and if you can share a minimum demo and definitely you will get help, I will keep an eye on that too.

  • Still the debug view in System tab is really sluggish. Even though the FPS is 100, the mouse cursor lags, all actions are performed with a noticeable delay, the character continues moving for about a second after I release all keys on the keyboard.

    Hah, you're right I didn't notice that yesterday but I had a look just now and it is very sluggish as if it were still running at 7FPS as the object follows the mouse when dragging like (2 or 3) steps behind.

    I guess this issue Scirra team will have to investigate and fix it themselves as we cannot do anything on our end, though for me at the moment I'm lucky as my debugging is very simple and I can just print a Txt on the screen or do Console logs at the moments.

    Sure if you have fixed your issue and that's what you wanna then all good.

    Example:

    If selecao is = 1

    Then all these 4 events will Run:

    If you are happy with that then all good if not then you will need to change your events, if you need help in changing the events then you will need to provide the logic that you were thinking of doing so someone can help you in changing them.

    like how do I make everyone set as a reference to another, like it's a single variable, which controls all the colors, so if I want to change it, I'd only need to change it in 1 place

    Also, you need to put an else in all the events after the First Event "Selecao = 1"

    or you will have issues with multiple events triggering in the same tick like for example:

    If selecao is = 4

    Then all the events below will trigger:

    -selecao is not equal 1

    -selecao is not equal 2

    -selecao is not equal 3

    mm now that I'm thinking even the else it will not help if you just wanted to trigger the "is not equal 4" alone as the first "is not equal 1" will trigger first and skip the other events below, I think you will need to change the logic unless you want to trigger three of them at the same time.

    I had the same problem as I didn't know the object's colour has to be white before you apply any other colour so you may have the same issue:

  • Heh, yeah that's it. Worker on fixes it. I had worker set to auto and I assume it ended up off because I use a few scripts, but I don't use DOM stuff so I can safely turn it on.

  • I think I found the problem:

    Is the Worker mode when you turn it off + you need to have like 4 layers at least

    Before we use to have problems when we turn it ON and now is the opposite when we turn it OFF

  • As I mentioned, I had this problem in an empty layout with no event sheet attached and no object instances (except for a few arrays, jsons etc.)

  • Funny I delete everything (Objects & Events) and I just left the bones and even though the project is totally empty still has the issue:

    It looks like Chrome did something on their latest update making it not compatible with C3 debugger.

    if I open the same project in Edge works much better still drops a few here and there but not that bad like Chrome

    It started to update automatically so not sure if that is the old version or the new one that was trying to update to before I cancelled it

  • I did some more testing on the project that has the issue I deactivate all the events by deactivating the Groups so there is no one single event active and still doing the same so this looks like is something wrong with the Objects that the project has, the best bet is to try to look on that.

  • Same here. I thought it was just my laptop switching between plug and battery so I kinda shrugged it off. But it is indeed the system view. Are you using 3D features by any chance, because that's when I first noticed it, but that may be coincidence.

    On my side, I haven't used any 3D object or 3D feature, my is more like an editor that doesn't have to check collisions, loops etc.. as a normal game will do, all my objects are static without behaviour or effects.

  • I wanted to report this as a bug, but I couldn't reproduce it in a test project, it feels kind of random.

    Same here and I cannot share my main project.

    I will try again when I will have free time to see if I manage to reproduce it in a new empty project so we can fill up a bug.

    I have been experiencing the same thing for the last 2 months I was going crazy as I don't have anything to drop performance like that.

    I have only 762+ object statics, no loops or anything like that to hurt performance no effects and is acting weird as yours.

    I believe it could be Chrome's latest version as I have been using C3 r268 for a very long time and I never had any problems till now.

    My Chrome Ver: 103.0.5060.134 (Official Build) (64-bit)

    C3 Ver: r268

    Normally this should have no impact at all on performance
