  • In my case, at least in construct 1, I was having some trouble with transparent areas.

    While in photoshop it was showing everything ok, as soon as I exported the images and put them on construct, some little pesky white pixels appeared randomly around the image, sometimes 1 or 2, other times like 20 or so =O

    that's some exporting bug that was happening to me, not all the time though, I've got pretty good transparencys with lots of sprites

    Anyway Ashley, thanks for ur feedback, it really feels nice to know those things are coming next patch =O

    And I'm not saying it wasnt a big deal, just making sure I wasnt the only one with this strange feeling, I just had to let it all go and share those feelings ya know

    but thanks again all construct 2 dev team. =)

  • I recently bought construct 2, and after sometime now toying with construct classic I cant help but say that construct 2 feels weird...

    I know it's still under development and such, but it feels so incomplete =/ I mean the sprite editor doesnt even has 'paint brush' like controls so I can quickly edit some little pesky bugs that other programs like photoshop cant solve =/...

    When I was trying to resize sprites in the layer window, I held shift and it did nothing... like, wasnt it supposed to lock my resize window so it doesnt stretch like whatever?

    Am I the only one that got this feeling or it's really because it's new and still under development?

    Anyway, sorry about all the complains and such, had to share these feelings and I need to know if I'm the only one that feels weird =/

  • Well, if it was construct classic I'd say 'use the Line of Sight behavior' but since it's not, I really cant figure out how to make things in construct 2

    I'm also having this kind of problem, specially cause I didnt get used to construct 2 interfaces and lack of behaviors / objects like particles =/...

  • Even though I searched a lot on the forums, i'm still having problems with time scale 0 when pausing the game

    I mean, I'm making a platformer like Megaman for ex. and when I pause the game, everything pauses, cool, but I can still shoot with my weapon even though the bullets wont move

    It feels like a time stop thing where I can shoot hundreds of bullets and they will only move after the time is running again, its funny but not what I want...

    I'm using On Shot key pressed > spawn object bullet

    I read about the time delta things but I could not figure it out how to make it work in this case =/...

    I'm also having this problem while I press left and right key, the sprite is changing it's facing direction, which looks weird, since the game should be paused... anyway

    Any help is appreciated.

    So just making sure: what I want is that when time scale = 0, I cant just shoot bullets at all, so they dont spawn.

  • Sorry about the link, seens I have messed up the dropbox link and such...

    About the images, if u mean the jpegs/pngs and such that I used for sprites and everything else, I have everything saved and backed up, cause I was working with my GF while she was doing graphics I was programming and such... So we have everything...

    I was just hoping there was some way to recover the file, found out that windows saves some backup of files automatically, but the autoback from windows was very, very very outdated =/....

    Anyway thanks again, and sorry for the messed up link.

    Using autoback from now on, but I heard there's some bug to it that randomly leaks memory and creates files of 100gb and such... That might be a problem =/...

    Really sad and all but cant cry all day long, gotta restart everything back to the point where I was...

  • I pushed 'save button' and somehow not sure why, in the middle of the saving process the program just stopped working...

    When I try to reopen the .cap file, it keeps saying:

    Failed to load application: Error with loading: expecting class (CImageResource), but received ()

    I'm using construct classic

    Is there any way to recover it? did I lost all my project?

    I was searching forums and found that there's an autoback function, wish I had found that earlier....

    Any help is appreciated...
