  • Good for a first! My comments :

    Zombie Game = To make them collide make the zombies Solid and the walls Solid. Pretty good in general.

    Physics = Average. It's been overused.

    Asteroids = Fun! Make ships appear, instead of spawning them.

  • Every X seconds, Construct does a backup of the cap you're working on. Each backup is saved differently (game.cap.bak1, game.cap.bak2, etc...)

    After X backups, Construct starts from .bak1 and continues the loop. PLEASE IMPLEMENT THIS. Please.

    You can set the X values in the option, as well enable/disable this feature.

  • I changed the sprite in a event by double-clicking on it's icon. Also, ashley, do you have MSN, so we can exchange things more easily? Sending the cap in a second.

  • I spent lot of time on making a turret defence engine, with all the kind of nifty stuff like damage, range and rate of fire. I changed some events in the event editor and Construct started to beep. I closed without saving. When I try to reopen my .cap, it says that it's "Unable to access a file without name after it's end."

    Now what? I'm fu****. I gotta start all from beginning. Or else, Ashley can you do something if I send you the cap?

  • Hmm! You can create scripts by right-click > add script in the event editor... I couldn't get if it did work or I can't script it! Ashley, do it works?

  • They aren't even 1 from default! They are nothing!

  • When it comes out i'll write a basic tutorial on how to do stuff like grab a webpage, do a google search, etc.

  • 1) An array cell, isn't 0 from default. You should be able to choose all the cells from default.

    2) When you have 2 nonesixtant Global('something') values in a event, Construct will ask you if you want them to be created. After that, Construct will crash.
