  • Hey guys!

    I would like to create enemies in an endless runner game. Each of the enemies should get a variable with an distinct value at random as well. The hero should only make points if he hit enemies with the correct value.

    Does a tutorial exist? Suggestions?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hey guys,

    I would like to create objects (sprites) "every random(4,8) seconds" on the layout.

    Above each of these created objects should appear a text field with an individual text so that each sprite got a "special" different value above.

    How can I realize this combination of sprite and text field showing a indivual value?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hey guys,

    I followed instructions given in another thread to create a timer by adding 0.001 to a global variable every 0.001 seconds. With the fact in mind that "every" event is framerate independent it should be that after 1 second the value of the variable is 1.000 as well. But instead it is 0.6 (sometimes 0.58).

    Obviously there is something I dont understand or in other words what is the max accuracy I can expect and it depends on what?

    Suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

  • Yep, that works fine! Thank you so much!!!

  • Hi guys, thanks a lot so far.

    Attached you will find a demo project which demonstrates what I mean.

    As you can see with the first "Sprite" everything is ok. It just starts with an "Idle" animation. After finishing that Sprite.born become 1 and animation "Walk" and simulate control "left" starts. But all upcoming sprites now have Sprite.born = 1 instead of 0 what I think they should have when they have been created.

    Thanks a lot!

  • Hi folks,

    I have a spawner that spawn objects every

    random(4,8)[/code:167togxe] second.

    After spawning there is running a "rise" animation. After rising I set animation to "walk". But it seems that these setting isn't individual.

    [code:167togxe]Sprite -> On animation "Rise" finished -> SpriteBox - > Set rised to 1[/code:167togxe].
    [code:167togxe]System -> SpriteBox.rised = 1 -> Sprite -> Set animation to "Walk" (play from beginning)[/code:167togxe]

    But after that setting "rise" did not appear anymore.

    Someone got a hint or a tutorial abut spawning objects with random behavior/instance variables?

    Thank in advance!

    So, keep kalm and code on.
