  • I want to set a transparent circle at the image point of each tower that is built. When the tower is placed the circle will be placed as well and both will become immovable. The circle is then set to become invisible unless the mouse cursor is over the turret. I then want that circle corresponding to that specific tower to become visible and no other circles.

I believe this can be done by setting the circle in the tower's container but I have multiple types of towers(different sprites) that are within a family. I only wish to use one circle but I am unalbe to contain the same sprite to multiple objects or to a whole family.

Any idea, do I need to make multiple circles for each tower and contain them seperatly????

  • Hey Construct community,

My name is Steve and I decided to purchase a personal licence to produce games as a hobby using construct 2. I've tried many 2d game engines as well as the Unreal Engine and have decided this was the best choice for the games I want to make.

I love the great tutorials and help other members have been providing for questions and hope to one day be able to return the favor. Hope to have a game up soon for you guys to check out :)

  • The undo works for me but only up to one undo, on the second undo it says to close the image editor before undoing this far. Not helpful if I want to undo what occured in the image editor. Holding the delete key should only delete to the right of the animation frames.

Question: shift and ctrl will not let me select certain frames with clicking to make exact selection of what I want to delete possible.

Is there a key for grouping selected objects in construct 2???
