    Thanks for your quick answer!

    I checked out the sprite font plugin, spritefront + and Give Your Fonts Mono.

    I also checked the tutorials on this, but its a way to complicated to me.

    I'm working on an easy solution to view my own textsprites.

    Would you take a look at the following picture and tell me if it's realizable?

    I created text instance variables for my dialogobject and have a single sprite with about 50 frames in it (letters, points...).

    This works, but my problem is that it shows just "C" if i set the dialog object to ABC.

    I guess c2 jumps immediately from one event to the next one. Do you know how to

    show all letters at once?

    I opened your example and it looks like a good easy way to display own sprites as font.

    I also tried to understand whats going on in the eventsheet but i can't.

    1- Is it true that it replaces each character of a normal textobject by a single frame of the font u used?

    2- If its true: how c2 knows what frame should be displayed with each character of the textobject?

    3- I want to display the text of my dialogsystem. Could you give me a tip which of the events you used would be important for that?

  • Hello!

    I read a lot in different tutorials about health-bars, but i didn't find one like i want to create.

    I want a simple healt-bar out of 3 bars and a medikit-item which adds one "health-point" (and health-bar)

    to the player and the screen. When the player collides with an enemy, one hPoint and one hBar will be subtracted,

    when he collides with a medikit, one hPoint and hBar should be added.

    This works already:

    • when player collides with enemy, one point and one bar will be subtracted
    • if player has 2 hPoint+hBars and collides with an medikit he gets on more hPoint+hBar

    BUT:

    if the player has 1 hPoint+hBar and collides with a medikit he get two more healtbars! ( it jumps from 1 to 3!)

    could somebody look at the picture of the event-editor and give me some tips to fix my problem?

    I want to create a RPG-Like Dialog-System but i have no idea how to do that.

    • The text should be displayed on an area at the bottom of the screen like this

    ( )

    1- And on the left side of the text there also should be an image of the person who sais text.

    2- the player should be able to skip the actual displayed text by pressing a button on the keyboard

    3- if NPC1 asks something, the player should be able to choose between different answers

    4- if the player choosed the right answer something should happen (i.e. he should get one coin)

    Is there an easy way to realize that? (maybe with the using of .ini-files , if construct 2 supports that) ?
