    Trying to generate a random number here. I have it working fine except for one condition.

    Random(100) gives a number between 0 and 100.

    I want it to be a number between say... 50 and 100. How do I go about writing that. I can only get it to be between 0 and x.

    Haven't been able to find my answer searching the forums. Anybody know it off hand?

  • I totally appreciate the help but I don't see a "scale" behavior.

    I've thought to use the Sine Behavior, but it seems like overkill when all I need to do is "scroll" the scale from small to large.

    I figured there would be a simple line to do that.

    Also, I'm afraid I dont understand where I should be using the "lerp" expression. should I be applying that to the ZElevation Event or?

  • Ok, I tried zoom, but it scales the WHOLE SCREEN, I just need 1 sprite to appear to rush as the player. So unless I'm wrong about how to use it, it wont work, but ZElevation...

    Can you give me a pointer on how to go about adding 1 to the variable vrs setting it to a specific number. As of right now I only know how to set to a specific setting to a specific integer. Any idea how to go about adding to it.

    I'm trying to think of a way to scale an object smoothly so that it appears as if it is getting closer to the screen.

    I need it to appear as if its rushing toward the player. Any ideas? Point me to the tutorial for that kinda thing?

    These are both good methods to know. I tired it but stuck with the RTS because it has path-finding.

    Any ideas on that?

  • So I want my laser beam to stop when it hits a solid. I've got what I think is the correct code here, but obviously its not. Any ninja coders out there can fix this mess?

    Super new dude here but I'm trying.

    I need to move an object around the screen without it "popping" from place to place.

    See the only thing I understand how to do is move the object using "set position" relative to another object or X,Y coordinate. I want the object to move from A to B in a fluid motion, almost like a ball but hovering. I can only make it "snap" from A to B instantly. Any ideas?
