  It's weird it works then on my version of Construct 2 in work, so seems it is nothing to do with the file but something to do with my machine!

  I have checked this and all layers are there and set to visible. I can see the objects on screen they are just a faint blue box as opposed to the actual graphic (as shown at runtime), really strange.

  I'm new to Construct and am following the "Ghost Shooter" demo tutorial. When adding a tiled layout or sprite to the layout is says:-

  "Now you should see your tiled background object in the layout."

  But all I can see is a faint blue box the size of the object added. When I run the game everything is there, but is there anything I need to do to see the actual graphics appear in the layout? Thanks for any help in advance! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
