    Pretty much re-wrote the code in C3 and optimised it for mobile.

    I'm pleased with the performance on modern android 6+ devices, usually around 55 - 60 fps.

    Fixed lots of bugs.

    Got rid of a few things.

    Added a few things.

  • Ok, It would be nice to know if the build server is down, or is having maintenance.

    If I know it's down or very slow I can go and do something better with my time (watch masterchef )

    So tonight for instance (02/04/2018), failed to build, lost connection & restored connection only to 'failed to build, for the last 3 hours.

    I think I found it. In monetization Manager, you click on MANAGE next to property, then add a Platform. I assume you have to add both platforms for iOS and Android for ads to show on both, correct?

    Yes , It's a bit confusing, but first you go into monetisation manager, then you create an adspace first, then you create a placement in that adspace, then you use the placement id in c3, what i found, is that it takes a while for the system to catch up, and I found that once you have tried it in messenger then it seems to kick in.

    As for the adverts loading, I've test again, and yes, it's definitely showing the last fully loaded advert:

    SOLUTION: We need 2 types of "Show Ad" events. One for Interstitial, one for Reward Video Ad.

    They have stopped working now in messenger, and no impressions have shown up in monetisation manager.

    Cant quite work out how it can be that hit and miss.

    Haven't changed any settings also.

    Seems to be all working fine now.

  • You say its working on facebook .. but do you mean messenger?

    Im testing just from messenger, and it works everytime.

    Everything else seems about right.

    Also when an advert does appear it should register this, and youll see the stats of how many times it appeared in the monetisation manager. Is the value still 0?

    I am just using facebook app, but i will download messenger and try it now.

    Unfortunately all stats in monetisation manager says 0, fill rate, impressions etc

    I am storing user data in an array and I am separating each entry with a "|||" separator. I can load these fine but I have given each individual an id number that they enter on another website. The data gets pulled down using an ajax request URL - this all works fine. What I want to do is search through the array and find the occurrence of the users id number in that array and then get the index of that occurrence so as to only load that persons data.

    So the question is how do I find the index of an occurrence of string in an array?

    Maybe this is what you mean.

    If I have a number in an array to find, and i want to find the index of that I use the following, I normally store the result in a global variable.

    Array > contains value str(User ID here) -------- System set Global Variable to indexof(str(User ID))

    you need str, if you are finding a number, and not a string, otherwise str is not needed.

    If the above is true, is there any way to preview the app and test ads without creating an APK etc?

    I agree with this, I think you need a placeholder ad in preview , just to give the user who is testing the confidence that all is working ok, otherwise they will question if it's working or not.

    Something like, "You are seeing a Construct 3 replacement test ad for admob"

    I'm working on it yes, but it's not quite ready yet. The UI parts are included in the current releases but shouldn't appear at the moment. Should make life considerably easier when producing release builds!

    When I was exporting to an unsigned APK with cordova (android) , on Thursday night, there was an option below to sign the APK, with your keystore e.t.c, I filled in the details , and it crashed.

    Is this going to be a thing?, I presume this was it put up by mistake, too early?

    Anyway if it happens, and works smoothly, it will be a big step forward.

    I just tried your 'Hounds of Halthrag' on my Moto G 2nd Gen, Android 6

    There were a few glitches, the bounding box around the + and - buttons for character selection were too small so unless you hit right on the middle they were unresponsive, especially the minus '-' sprite.

    I'm not going to comment on the graphics as this is subjective, everybody likes different styles.

    The writing was far too small on my mobile, to read.

    I did see 2 ads, one right at the beginning.

    BUT, the biggest problem was it crashed my phone twice

    Once Black screen, and once a message saying the app was unresponsive.

    Maybe it's my phone, too old, time for an upgrade

    Hip Hop Beat Maker is fine, nice little app for making beats.

    The rest of the apps are fine also.

    Just played Morty omg adventure, made me smile.

  • I have tested and what I can say is:

    -The icon on playstore is horrible (this is the first thing that people is going to see). Seriously, I will never click on that icon, because it makes me think that the game is going to be horrible. You have many images free of copyright related with football.

    -The same happens with your featured graphic, is a screenshot, once again look for something copyright free and make something fancy here.

    -Its going to be difficult to get visibility on playstore, you have to include your keywords 5 times, for example you only have 2 times the word "soccer". Make a good description of the game with the most of the keywords related with soccer will help to gain some visibility. You can use free web programs as appanie to track your keywords.

    (You can run experiments from your store consele with this 3 parameters and you will see you will gain some visibility)

    THE GAME:

    -The game is boring (honestly), so the only way the people playing your game is with a very good graphics. Now you can see pixels everywhere.

    -When I touch the ball I don´t see the walls, so I have try to put my mobile on landscape but its not possible.

    -The animations are ok and run smooth.

    -The music is hard to listen for more than 1 minute I want to silence.

    -The UIS could have a better design, for example making a frame to the big Tiled Background where you put all the texts.

    -The game is repetitive, you don´t add nothing to make it more tricky as you get points.

    -Mobile Advert is showing ads ok, I have seem one.

    This is my honest opinion. Good luck and keep on developing

    There are issues with mobile performance, If there are too many large, hi-res graphics, so I have gone for a low-res pixel compromise, also it uses the physics behaviour, which kills mobile performance on android 6 and below, so sacrifices had to be made.

    I agree with the icon and screenshot, I will work on that.

    I might add a frame , but wanted to keep it simple.

    May I ask what device did you play it on and what version of android?

    Anyway thanks again, I'm off to try your games now.
