  • I've tried to do this several ways without success.

I want to pause a video when it reaches a certain playback time in seconds. I've tried comparing a value to the video.playbacktime in seconds, then setting a boolean value to become true. This was suppose to pause the video.

    Any suggestions?

  • I have the same issue. Video opens in the builit in media player on iOS when testing with XDK. Does anyone have a solution to this?

  • I am testing some video on iOS over LAN, but I don't want the video play icon and the GUI to show up. I want it to be clean and seamless when a video plays.

I plan to create a self contained app. Do these things go away if I test with Phone Gap or XDK?

I will pay for the iOS dev license if there is a chance it might work.

  • Does each video clip need a touch event to begin on mobile?

Can the user tap a button to begin the first video then have another video automatically play after the first video ends without a touch event?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Yeah, I have it setup that way. There is always a slight pause when the video loops again. I'm testing it with nw.js since that is my target publishing output. I'll keep testing different things.

  • I have a video that I want to seamlessly loop. When I test the playback there is a tiny pause when it restarts.

As an example, if I had a video background of a tree and the branches move slightly, I want the video to loop seamlessly so the branches never stop moving.

  • I will likely target PC and MAC versions first. Optimizing for mobile may be more of a challenge.

I'm more concerned about functionality such as instantly playing the video once a button is clicked.

  • I am just getting my feet wet with Construct 2. I want make a game with a lot of FMV (full motion video).

Is Construct 2 a good fit for this?
