  • Thanks LittleStain!

Almost, but not *quite* what i needed, but it's given me an idea for a workaround nevertheless.

  • Hi,

Tried looking for this in the forums, and although i found a number of posts related to the subject, none of them really answer the question properly, or they mainly deal with the game being in "full screen" mode, which is not what i'm looking for.

Is there a way at runtime (specifically "System" -> "On Start Of Layout") to set the LAYOUT (or the PROJECT Window size?) width and height, rather than the CANVAS width and height to the browser's (or device's) available viewport dimensions? What i'm looking for is the ability to scale the playable screen "real estate" (not including the outside margins) to the maximum size afforded by the browser. Surely this must be possible?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Hi all,

Just wondering if it was possible via CSS or some other means to hide or remove the scrollbar for the form list element when it is set to "List box" type and the listbox is displaying all the elements.

I was planning on using the Form list control as a kind of context sensitive menu popping up at the cursor accessible from a right-click, but that scrollbar jars.

    Possible? Any ideas?

  • Hi all,

Investigating a move from Gamemaker to Construct2 and i've been really happy with what i've managed to do so far. Physics integration is waaay easier in C2.

However, i'm a little stumped by something... not sure if i'm missing the plot or if it really isn't there.

I need to pop up an in-game context menu with options for the current object i'm interacting with and for the life of me I can't find anything that will allow me to set up a menu, let alone a context-sensitive one. I don't mind getting my hands dirty with javascript if need be, but the integration points between the in development game and the external environment are a little hazy for me at this point, and I don't seem to be able to apply an arbitrary script to an event.

Has anyone tried this before? I can't find anything on the forums, apologies if something is there and I haven't looked hard enough, but this is a massive showstopper for me!

    Thanks in advance,

    shrike71
