Yeah, played with it for a while. It's made like (ripp off) UDK Kismet.
For me it was very hard to do something with it - I don't like those graph things. They always say it's easier (for workflow) but eventually you end up having impossible to read and understand net of boxes and wires...
That's way I suggested Playmaker not uScript, Playmaker is more like C2 events.

It's not bad at all. I really like using Unity (but never have time to do proper assets, that's why I'm using C2:))
The thing is, free version of Unity is very limited - and that's the second and final reason why I'm not using it.

Well.. as I say, don't know anything about your project. but for lerping +/- 100 pixels for Y position you used a lot of events :D
$45 doesn't seem like much. There's a lot of talk about how Unity now rivals the Unreal engine. I wish I had the time to learn new software...
That will probably never happen.
Unity to Unreal is like "Star Crash" to "Star Wars".
It's not bad. Don't know what kind of project you are doing for that competition but I think your example is a bit over complicated.
Usually i'm using 1024x768 or 800x600 for casual stuff, it's still more or less office resolution in my country.
For personal projects I'm making my games 1280x720 (small HD)

kiyoshi yeah, why is not suitable? I mean, I was only playing with it for a while when it was in beta and early realese state. But what i've seen latetly it grown big. Almost every option from unity is available in it.
no idea what codec did I used, but this one works ^^
It might be a graphics card driver, but won't this flickering show everywhere?
For now it only shows in preview. After exporting to html5 or exe there is no flickering.

Did you change Sampling to Point for your project?
Default Sampling for new project is always Linear.
For a quick test.
In my project file try to swap my ship image to your image and see how it will look.
Sprite: Pick bottom instance -> Sprite move to layer 1
This will pick the Sprite with lowest Zindex and move it to layer 1.
If you have many different Sprites put them into a family and then
Family: Pick bottom instance -> Family move to layer 1
You want all ten sprites bring to top layer at the same time, or one by one?
