  • I finally got this figured out I had to use containers to make the tower clickable so that Lordshiva1948 theory would work thanks for the help! Sorry I didn't reply sooner.

  • the tutorial for tower defense even mentions upgrading towers but doesnt tell how to set that up but the order of events woudl work as so

    1. Click on existing tower

    2.upgrade button appears

    3.click upgrade button

    4.tower upgrades and switches to next animation and so forth

  • the issue I am running into is when I place a tower and left click when cursor is over sprite it should create a button and then clicking that button should change animation bit for some reason this obvious setup is not working when I click on the sprite the button does not appear giving me the option to upgrade the tower to its next instance

  • So I am new here but I have been searching google and this site with no luck. I have a tower defense game in the works and want to make it so when I click an existing tower an upgrade button appears on screen and upon clicking the upgrade button it will upgrade the tower either by destroy and and create or by the most logical method.
