  • Thanks for the possible solutions R0J0hound!

I would like the demo to be correct and as you say, that the demo has a good speed. I will study how to make array.

  • I'm making a simple arcade game and I'd like it to load the game to start with an attract-mode or demo mode like old arcade games.

    For example:

How could I do it? Thank you

  • Thanks! I'll look at it. It's that with the plugin of C2 "Old tv effects" I liked it a lot and I thought that in C3 there was also one.

  • Hi,

I would like to get a screen effect similar to the RECALBOX curvature shader, which mimics a vintage crt television (screen number 4).

    Other example: https://youtu.be/8-fQpymRo8M

Before, when I was using Construct2 I bought a plugin called "OLD TV Filter for Construct" and it didn't have any problem.

Can you do something similar in Construct3?

    Thanks!

  • Perfect! Thank you very much for your time Tim!

  • Hi Timmy,

Excuse me, I've tried and no I can't solve it. I'm sure it's very easy.

I build on this tutorial for beginners by Velojet:

    https://www.construct.net/en/tutorials/building-platform-game-115

    And .capx incluyed:

    https://construct-static.com/tutorials/downloads/23827/platform-tutorial-i.capx

Right now I've the same movements as this .capx file. but with different sprites and with different speed, acceleration, graphics and some changes etc.

If you could help me I would be very grateful.

  • It doesn't scroll if I just press the key down and it shows me the sprite down.

But I also don't want it to scroll if I press the key down + the left or right key ... and if it scrolls.

  • No, it keeps scrolling ... when I press down key + left or right key ...

  • Hi all people,

I am creating a platform game, but I am having trouble with the player crouching down.

I want my player to be able to duck ... but I can't ... that when I press the down key + the left key or + the right key the player to hold that position without moving.

For example like classic arcade games:

    Green Beret or Rastan.

    https://youtu.be/dKNv6qcKeSM

I've got him to scroll left, right and jump but duck ...

I have a problem, the player ducks but if I press the down key + the left or right key the player scrolls as if he were walking, but with the down sprite.

    Thanks

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi all people,

I really like making small games and demos. Then I export them to Nj.ws for Windows, Lynux and Mac.

But it takes long time to load after I click .exe

Is it possible to make a loading/splash screen before it is loading the Node Web Kit program?

    Thank you

  • Good Joob! Thanks for all!

  • Hi people,

I would like to make a simple game of this type, such as: Hyper Olimpic or Track and Field game.

    https://youtu.be/8va4YGGA3wE

I have seen that in Construct2 there is a game of this type also: http://redcarpetrampage.com/

I just want I to move a simple square by pressing two keys simultaneously.

The objective is an educational game (Kids game) but I need how you can move an object by pressing two or more keys with a power bar similar to this type of games.

I do not know how to move it, I would appreciate your help.

    Thank you very much.
