I used mmf a lot in the past (before mmf2) and recently got interested in playing around with gamemaking again. I downloaded Construct (classic) because it was free and I was pretty impressed. It is just so much easier to do the simple things than in mmf! (I've only scratched the surface of the program, maybe it gets worse?) The layout is also more attractive and intuitive, it reminds me of a couple of the 3d gamemaking studios I've tried out. I did try mmf2 just to check out if it had improved. It indeed is better than mmf1.5, but is still pretty much the same program in many respects.
However, despite how good it seems compared to mmf, I can't really commit to using it until you finish it. This is a fantastic project and I'm really looking forward to the completed software, bravo!
