  • I appreciate the response! And will look into that. I did look into rpg maker but the graphic limitations as well as the battle system is too limited for me. I am planning on going with a arpg style with monster(soul) collecting(not nearly as complex as pokemon)and it just seemed a bit complicated to do so with rpgmaker.

  • Heyo, so I know this question may be asked in multiple different ways however I've been looking for an engine to start my long journey with as there is this 1 game I've been wanting to make for years. I now finally found myself financially capable of being able to hire artist and programmers if needed since I'm not good at either really. I've been deciding between unity playmaker or construct 3- leaning more towards construct 3. However how would large scale rpgs handle with this engine and is there a proficient way to make dialog and quest (similar to like rpgmaker?) If not is that something that could be created by a programmer fairly easily? I really appreciate everyone's time reading this :)

  • So I created a little bullet image and I have the angel set towards an object when the Bullet is spawned. The bullet does what it is intended to do but while it is traveling the Bullet Image is like spinning 360.. I have no idea how to stop this, the anchor point doesnt help and Im not sure what else to try, suggestions ?

  • Everytime I try to download and unzip the .7z file it says its not valid archive and even when I use the Tool to down it, it says error.. I have no idea what Im doing wrong, I have others plugins from you but this plugin doesnt seem to work for me at all..

    is the error im getting for all plugins

  • Hey guys I dont want a heated debate I would just like everyone's personal opinion, what is a good engine for phones, Is construct a great engine or stencyl,unity etc what is the best in your eyes?

  • Yea I found it, the spriter object itself doesnt have that option, I had to make a invisible box to get that

  • Okay Im using Spriter so I just put the scml file into spriter and it makes the sprite, Im having a hard time trying to find "on collision" because it seems spriter has different options? unless Im missing something

  • I didnt even think of the bullet option duh! But I do have one question would there be a way to mirror the sprite so when it hits a solid it flips and goes the other way?

  • Okay so Im not totally understanding how to make a platform enemy fly. I have a bat Enemy but I cant seem to get him to fly , thats what Im having difficulties with currently, could someone shine some light on this for me? How to go about doing it. Thanks !

  • I have an issue with tiles, no matter if it is 128,64,32 or 16. They Snap to the grid however once I turn the grid off, I can see the background image, the tiles aren't aligning correctly. And when they do, if I zoom out it breaks the alignment is there a way to fix this or why this is happening?

  • So I have sprites and a basic idea for my game but I dont have any tilesets and I dont like the ones in scirra store, so does anyone know if there are places you can buy tilesets? Or do I just have to learn how to draw and make my own

  • I feel really stupid before I even start with construct 2 I cant even find where to download the jungle sprite pact or anything else it comes with can someone help me?
