  • oh I am sorry I missed that. :) I'll check that out and see how it works. I found a tutorial about grid movement and making my board pieces in a grid and have the player move based on that. but I'll deffinately check out the move to option.

  • These are good plugins but not sure if they will work for me. I don't want a traditional board but somthing that is more like a path like my OP shows. I want to be able to have differenbt paths the players go down. I'll keep looking into these and see if they will work or not but this seems to do a traditional board layout. Which i do not want.

    Sorry for the fuzzyness of this post but I honestly am not sure where to start. :)

    Working on a board game where the player rolls the dice to decide how far they move, no player input besides the rolling of the dice. I have the dice roll setup to go to Dice Variable and have it linked to bullet time and animations. This works decently...but I know this is not a good way and it is not very precise.

    I was wondering if there is a way to mark square 1 on the board to value = 1

    Square 2 = 2

    Square 3 = 3

    Like using way points...or a path or something.

    I'm just not sure how I should approach the movement

  • I am not sure if this is even the best way to describe what I am trying to do but here we go. I have a Energy sprite that has two animations. 1 is grey(empty) and the other is blue(player health) I have a global variable player_health = 5

    When it is 5 I want to show 5 blue energy sprites in a row on screen

    4 would display 4 blue and 1 grey

    3 would display 3 blue and 2 grey

    And so on

    I have created other arrays for other sprite changes in the game but there is only one instance of those particular sprites on the screen at a time but this I need them laid out differently and i think I am approaching this wrong.

    Any ideas?

  • Hello Everyone,

    It has been awhile since I have done any game development and I have decided to dust off an idea I have been sitting on for awhile now. It is inspired by Capcom's "Quiz and Dragons" arcade from the 90s which I loved playing back in the day. Do to my lack of drawing talent I am using some assets I purchased back in 2018 as the character set which gives a more playful feel. I hope down the road to re-skin to make it more serious to hopefully target other audiences.

    Plan to release on PC and in Google Play store. I'll post updates as the project progresses.
