  • My impressions are ambivalent. When I had run it (C3) I felt like I was working on C2 but somehow deprecated. I saw the same options and the same workflow but sometimes I felt a little lost - for example I could not added behaviour to the object for the first time. Just a while later I pressed a right mouse button for a submenu. I had looked for a new stuff but I could not find them fast, so I think I don't need them at now.

I like the plugin idea. It could be added to C2 too

So for me this is a C2 in the browser which doesn't fit my expectations. After the test I was happy to run C2 again.

So in my opinion C2 is a good tool. So good that the new one could not beat it yet...

... and it is working slower than C2.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I finally made it to wok work somewhat after adding the reference to the JavaScript advertising and manually placing the code in the generated one

Yes. A few work must be made to enable PubCenter or other Microsoft's ads in Construct 2 apps (UWP).

Please follow this informations at https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/mt313130.aspx .

After some time, ads have shown up in my game correctly.

  • Same, no ads are visible in the app. Everything seems to be set fine according to docs. Internet cap is enabled. After publishing to the store I don't see any advertising performance in the Microsoft Developer Console like my app doesn't send any data to PubCenter at all. Behaves like PubCenter object does not exist in the game.

Strange but additionally, after upgrading to release 227 my app doesn't respond to Touch object event on Windows Phone 10 any more.

    Visual Studio 2015 Update 2.
