  • Nice engine, what really works well is the jumping and landing. I would love to see a tutorial also on how it was all done.

  • No complaints at all! Loving the crisp design and everything is really easy to find! A++ job to all involved!

  • Loved it Oreo! The game reminds me of some classic snes platform games. When can we expect more levels? :)

Because a certain game that was submitted to the daily click halloween compo might just have won!

YES Slasherboy created by PixelRebirth has won the compo!

Be sure to say your congrats to him! And Pixelrebirth you will be receiving a TDC mail asking were we can send your prize to!

Also kudos to Scirra! I was very impressed with what Construct can now already do.

Keep up the great work everyone!

  • Plain and simple the daily click always accepted games of any form, click or not. Heck some gotw games are not even made by click products. So yes if you think you made a cool game, click, game maker, construct or whatever feel free to submit it.

Hopefully this will end this debate when we could be doing something else.. and yes the name the daily click came from a time when k&p was the only tool out there, however the domain name should speak volumes, end of story hopefully.

To start of your own community site while free to do so will only make a barrier between game makers, i think it is time to to start submitting your games, or demos or whatever and let them speak. We should not judge people on what tool they use but on the games they have created.

In others news i am in the middle of renovating my house took down 3 walls and i just sneezed black slime out of my nose if anyone wanted to know

  • Hey folks, thanks for the reply's and being so cool with it. One last thing I did make it clear on the ghost hunter page and on the news item for the daily click folks to stop flaming and fighting since this is not the place for it. And it seemed to have worked. Even the raintech demo Ashley posted is getting some good helpful and positive feedback, so thats good, and remember we are totally open in receiving construct games and demo/examples on the dc.

  • Howdy folks:) Just wanted to share my point of view on all of this. First i removed all of the out-of-topic comments on the ghosthunter download page. Arguing between mmf and construct is really silly if you think about it. Since all we are here for is to make cool games.

The tools we are using be it may a clickteam product, construct, flash or c++ should not make a difference at all in my opinion. Now for the demo that was uploaded, i see why some people go on and jump in defence mode since it looks and plays like a simmilar demo that was made for construct but the idea behind this was to show what mmf2 can do now, it is even open source so people can see how it was made, that in my opinion is the difference. If this was a demo for a game that was in the making or if it was not open source that would have been a different story as it is now however i think everyone should just see this as a technical open source demo.

That's all, i do not see any reason why our 2 communties can't help eachother and share our creativity. Instead of fighting lets work together.

    Have a good night folks,

    Rikus
