  • hi rhol, would you mind sending me your Spriter project, zipped ()? I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

I just reverted back to r232 with the old scml plugin. Thanks for you help though, never had any problems before.

  • Hello rhol, Sethmaster is correct, though you can also use the old method if you wish. Do you have a screencap of the errors? Also, the spritesheet save greys itself out if you've chosen a maximum size too small to fit your images or if you try to save to the same directory as the original project. Try increasing the max size and if this doesnt work, can you please screencap the spritesheet dialog when the button is greyed so i can see ifI notice anything else or if it's a possible bug.

I tried the new method increasing the size so i can click ok but the animation doesn't show up.

I downloaded the old scml plugin and tried the old method and get this error:

    Javascript error!

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'length' of null

    http://localhost:50000/Spriter_plugin.js, line 72 (col 37)

  • Spritesheet saving doesn't work. The "OK" button in the lower right is grayed out and un-pressable.

  • lucid

I can't save the spritesheet the "OK" button at the bottom is grayed out and you can't press it. What am i missing here?

  • Can someone test if the feature still works were you can just place the spriter object anywhere and just include the event sheet in any layout that you use it on. I'm getting alot of errors if i do that and the Spriter object no longer has a icon.

  • Is Spriter working in the latest release of C2 for anyone?

  • How do i change the player sprite when using click to move in 4 directions?

Example: When clicking up the player sprite changes to the up animation. When clicking left or right it changes to those animations.

Click to move just changes the angle of the one sprite. How do i implement sprite change?

  • Might be a version issue then. Remove it and what is the exact message?

"The project you are opening uses addons that are not installed:

    Behavior 'Platform MoveTo' by Rex.Rainbow

Please install the missing plugins, behaviors or effects and try re-opening the project. Note projects can be opened with effects missing. but not with plugins or behaviors missing."

Like you said it might be a version issue because i have the plugin and have used it on other projects. Any ideas how to get around this?

  • Try Construct 3

  • Did you install the custom behavior/plugin in the right directory?

    <drive letter> (if not C:/<programs directory>/Construct 2/exporters/html5/

From here, you have two different folders:

    behaviors

    plugins

If it's a behavior (the thread will say something like it'll show up in the default add behavior dialog), it goes in behaviors. Otherwise, plugins.

From there, make a new folder in the sub-directory (plugins or behaviors), name it the new plugin or behavior and drop the files into the new folder.

Yes. It's in the right directory. The third party behavior works on new/other projects.

  • When i try to open a project file i get a message saying "The project you are opening uses addons that are not installed".

I installed the missing behavior it said was missing and i still can't open it?

    Any ideas?
